About Congress

The All-Russian Congress of Cardiovascular Surgeons is the largest annual scientific and practical event in the field of cardiac and vascular surgery in Russia. The Congress is organised by the Russian Association of Cardiovascular Surgeons (RACCVS) and is held each year under the chairmanship of President Leo A. Bockeria.

The Congress brings together leading cardiovascular surgeons, cardiologists, anaesthesiologists, perfusionists, and related specialists from all regions of Russia and from abroad. It provides a unique forum for exchanging clinical experience, presenting scientific research, and discussing the latest advances in cardiovascular medicine.

The scientific programme includes plenary sessions, thematic breakout sessions, master classes, poster presentations, and an exhibition of medical equipment and technologies. Reports covering both fundamental research and applied clinical practice are presented.

Participation in the Congress is open to cardiovascular surgeons, cardiac surgeons, interventional cardiologists, vascular surgeons, and other specialists working in the diagnosis, surgical treatment, and rehabilitation of cardiovascular diseases.

The working languages of the Congress are Russian and English. Simultaneous interpretation is provided during plenary sessions.
