Rules for Abstracts
The Organizing Committee invites authors to submit abstracts for presentation at the All-Russian Congress of Cardiovascular Surgeons. Abstracts may be submitted for oral presentation or poster session. All abstracts undergo scientific review by the Programme Committee.
Languages
Abstracts may be submitted in Russian or English. Authors presenting in English are encouraged to submit their abstract in English.
Structure and Formatting
- Title: concise and informative; do not use abbreviations in the title
- Authors: list all authors with initials and family name; indicate the presenting author
- Institution: full name and city of each author's affiliated institution
- Body: structured as Aim, Methods, Results, and Conclusion
- Length: maximum 250 words (body text, excluding title, authors, and institution)
- Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt; single spacing
- Tables and figures: not permitted within the abstract text
Content Requirements
- Abstracts must present original work not previously published in full in a peer-reviewed journal
- Clinical studies must comply with ethical standards and, where applicable, indicate ethics committee approval
- Abbreviations should be defined at first use
- Statistical data must be provided where appropriate (sample size, p-values, confidence intervals)
Submission
Abstracts must be submitted electronically via the Congress online submission system before the stated deadline. Authors will receive an automated confirmation of receipt. Notification of acceptance or rejection will be sent to the corresponding author by the date specified in the Congress circular.
Deadline
The submission deadline is announced in the official Congress circular and on the Congress website. Late submissions cannot be accepted. Please contact the Organizing Committee if you have any questions regarding abstract submission.
